I’m a DoD Senior Executive and a retired colonel. Like I do every year, I sent a message to my 2,000 person workforce reminding them of the sacrifices of the Greatest Generation on those beaches in Normandy. We care and always will.

Hmmm, something’s amiss here. That’s the picture with the built in microphone in Klink’s office, but no wires showing. There would have to be a radio transmitter built in to transmit sound to Hogan’s quarters if there are no wires, but the technology to miniatureize a radio to that level didn’t exist yet.
What gives?
The ONLY viable reason I can think of is that Kinchloe hadn’t yet installed the microphone.

With this being June, Pride Month! It will get no time on the news. Here they covered how businesses were not supporting the parades and whatever’s. The school agenda is the same.
It probably inconceivable on the price many paid to keep our freedom. They probably think of it as a once upon a time story and cannot fathom in their minds what had happened. Going back to the Civil War and the Revolutionary War.
So many Americans cannot conceive of how much they are hated by other countries. They cannot even understand what atrocities happen to Americans out of the country. Other countries laugh at Americans.
Due process, even though you are not an American.

I definitely care! I had 4 uncles in ww2 and 1 in Korea. 1 uncle was held prisoner by the germans. None of them ever talked about what they went thru. It was my mother that told me about the uncle that was captured, but without any details.

Not trying to be disrespectful and hope u take this with a sense of humor. But WTF are you smoking and/or drinking. Slightly left of MSNBC I would go hmm but ok I would agree. We are watching 2 very different BBC. I trust them somewhat for news regarding Britain and the EU but I find their political reporting to be biased towards the left just as I think most of mainstream media is biased. But culturally and socially they appear to be very left leaning.

I really try to remember D-Day my football coach and history teacher, and truly a great man that I personally had the honor of knowing was on the beach that day .
Used to tell the class about that day and when he did there was not a sound in that room.

I once asked my (Hero) WWII Vet Father, (made it to 99 years and 9 months) if the Beach scene in Saving Private Ryan was accurate, he paused and said, “Yes…but it was significantly louder and went on longer.”
I believe, specifically, that he was referring to the 72 hour straight US Naval bombardment of
Iwo Jima.
…which occurred after ‘umpteen’ weeks of aerial bombing.
