What really really really NEEDS to happen is stories like this go big, far and wide. Let the criminals know the two very important things.

I don’t really have any personal interest in granting home invader’s wishes. But if they break into my home and keep presenting an imminent threat after I was already forced to shoot them, I might be forced to honor their request.
Sounds like this guy didn’t get his wish anyways as LEOs were able to get him to the hospital after the second shot.
This is what happens when you reduce the number of cops and stop having their backs, when AG’s are installed by leftists, and when the country is flooded with millions of illegals. Not enough cops to go around and more and more bad guys every day and not enough people to “process” the crimes. In other words, anarchy.
Until, in some jurisdictions, the citizens are forced to defend themselves. In which case, there are now plenty of police to “process” the “crime” and those lefty DA and AGs are more than happy to prosecute those crimes.

That homeowner is todays luckiest. The article said the police struggled with the bad guy, so he still had a lot of energy. So he was alone and could not climb stairs!

I love that drill with my TP9. I do it often so that it is ingrained into my muscles. Only one side of the story.
