You’re a soldier of Jesus Christ, not passive, not tolerant, not soft. Yet the world wants followers of Christ to be weak and soft, but that’s not us. We’re not wimps who tolerate disrespect towards Jesus. We’re the Peter type of Christians. We stand tall against those who persecute our Lord. That’s our version of Christianity, like the armor of God. Show our alliance like the risen King; be strong and courageous like Jesus, who didn’t soften His message for the Pharisees, like Archangel Michael, who defeated Satan, and like King Baldwin, who led the Crusaders to victory. We don’t bow down to anyone but God, and we proudly wear Jesus around our necks because our faith isn’t something we’re sorry for.
Christ is lord
I have a soft heart and am responsibly armed. I don’t get the Peter part. Didn’t Peter deny Jesus three times?
Like the song by Max Romeo, Chase the Devil, he wears an iron shirt to chase the devil out of Earth, to find another race, ![]()
Well yes, he did, in fact, three times. Despite his severe failure, Peter was ultimately forgiven and restored by Jesus, going on to become a foundational leader of the early Christian church. But the Peter type of Christian means no matter how far you may stray, the Father hen will call his chickens home.
