I can’t speak to other peoples home situations but I am certain I am significantly less likely to need a firearm in my current home or most of the other homes I have lived in. I live in a very low crime town. I don’t know of a single home invasion incident here or the other low crime towns I have lived in. Though my go to home defense firearms are loaded and ready to go.

But a lot of my work is in SoCal where I have had a couple of very close calls and more sketchy situations than I can count. Unfortunately out there, in the place that I am most likely to need it, my right to carry a firearm is unconstitutionaly denied.

the load another and fire another scenario you describe is highly unlikely and not an issue . a semi auto needs some type of solid backstop to reciprocate, think of limp wristing failures

Robert 1246 yes that’s why my 44,rifle rounds. Have rubber red noses. So I don’t chain fire every single round in my lever action rifle. Here’s ya a root beer v.my brother.
