I gather then, it did not ricochet, either? Not an experiment I am willing to try. As the guntubers say, don’t try this at home.

It did not. I ran down to the basement expecting to find a wounded water heater or some other costly damage, but I could not find an exit wound on the oak flooring.
I don’t recommend trying this like I did. There are safer methods to demonstrate penetration properties.

one of our senior members who shot skeet for many decades had an accident in the club house
I would say he was the safest shooter in the club, he came inside with the 410 over /under action open
reached into his pocket for the snap caps and some how a live round was with them
he always pointed it at the floor to release the firing pins , first one cleared the second one killed a 12’‘x12’’ floor tile .
no one hurt just an older member totally embarrass..
even if your well seasoned shooter ■■■■ happens
