What is wrong with VETERENS MONTH? I am not a veteran but I most certainly Thank them for there service and our FREEDOM!!! Our country does not do enough for them ! God bless America and GOD bless our VETERANS!

People who served and died for this country laid the stepping stones to making it great.
All the way back to before our country was born, fighters paved the way for businessman etc.
I just dont agree that we get 1 day but special interests get a month basically to help the voting block for politicians

I don’t know how true it is, but I recall many years ago there was a study, and it was found that there was maybe 10% of 1% of the population in the US were considered to be of the homo persuasion. My question is, why is the Gov kowtowing to this perversion anyhow?

That’s disgraceful. I lived in Northern Utah 30 years ago and this kind of support for deviancy was unheard of. Did Utah get an influx from California or the Pacific NW bringing all their ideas that ruined those places?

Same thing happened in the areas south of Portland, OR in the 70s-80s. Lots of problems when it became impossible for young families to afford homes in their hometowns, not to mention increased violent crime.

This sort of unnecessarily divisive argument is disappointing. SLC’s very modest support for a Pride Month event has nothing to do with its willingness (or not) to support a $15 million budget increase for its police department. It’s not an either/or situation. $15 million is non-trivial. That said, I hope SLC provides the appropriate budget support for its police department.
