Ship it to an FFL in his state where he goes to pick it up.

Thatā€™s the answer.

You could also take it with you to an FFL in his state, you all go to that FFL, and you transfer it there.

Do the above, or make both you federal felons.

Itā€™s a pain but itā€™s quite simple.

Transfer it through an FFL. Every other answer is a federal felony (you and your grandson both federal felons) that you can easily avoid.

I think I have it figured out. When we go down to see him this spring. we will go by an FFL thats just in town and take care of it.

Reading this made me think of all the fed. laws that the States are breaking that quasi legalize marijuana and with amounts that would have gotten us life in prison.
Or the feds. are breaking their own laws with taxation, immigration and drugs.
And lets not get into the 2A laws both are ignoring. :roll_eyes:
But the hall monitors are saying if you bend or break a law you and I will be squashed like the bugs we are. :bug:

Well, not sure if they can do anything now. My dad passed away in 2021 and I retook possession of that weapon. So I guess I ā€œloanedā€ it to him. Not gonna wring my hands over this one.
