What caliber do most instructors start beginners with ?
If you went to driving school did you start with a race car or a every day drive car.
The best way to get a person to buck or flinch is to start on big bore center fire .
I see some red flags here, does any one else ?

I think they should probably go rent a few varieties. Then start out with what they plan to shoot regularly.

Yup. LoL Pretty close to what i started with. I was not so good at whittling back then though…
