It really is perspective when you try to quantify something that is a construct fortified by a person’s belief system. We have created these ideas to lend credence to the belief that we are somehow more and there is a quality superior to just an existence. It is easy to dupe someone that wants to believe they are something more.
I think it’s just as easy to dupe someone who thinks that they are nothing more. Maybe even easier.
Personally, I have no doubt about the existence of the soul.
I will disagree with ol’boy about his little dog not having one….
All life has a soul, even plants, amoebas, rocks….. yeah rocks.
Despite what may be written in a book penned by man, the universe beyond this spinning ball of mud has a life of its own.
And we are all part of that energy
