The Gathering Official Contest Rules

MARCH 2021 USCCA PUBLISHING CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

  1. This contest is governed by these Official Rules. By participating in this contest you agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules, including eligibility requirements, and you acknowledge that the results of the contest as determined by Delta Defense, LLC (“Delta”) are final in all respects.

  2. ELIGIBILITY. Those attending the ‘The Gathering: Firearms Media Event’ March 17 - 19, 2021 will be eligible for this contest. All attendees will receive USCCA Training materials: Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Book, Should I Shoot Book and USCCA Training USB Bullet. Eligible participants will publish a review of the training content on the platform of their choice and will tag USCCA in their post. They will also submit their entry to the USCCA Community by sharing their review and/or providing a link to their review/video. The review must be published in the USCCA community between 3/17/2021 and 3/24/2021. Voting for favorite review will begin on 3/25/2021 and the contest ends at 12:00 p.m. central time (CT) on 03/31/2021. Each eligible content creator can submit one (1) review.

  3. Winner Selection. Starting on 3/25/2021 and ending on 3/31/2021 at 12:00 p.m. central time (CT) voting within the USCCA Community will occur. The review with the highest number of ‘likes’ will win the prize package. One (1) winner will be drawn immediately after voting closes on 03/31/2020 at 12:00 p.m. central time (CT). Each eligible content creator can submit one (1) review.

  4. USCCA is not giving away firearms or ammo as a part of this contest. Because it is illegal in some states to ship firearms and ammo, and it is difficult to legally transfer a firearm to an FFL. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited.

  5. Conditions.
    a. By entering, you accept and agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Delta and its judges.

    b. Any and all state, local or federal taxes and/or other expenses are the sole responsibility of the winning content creator. Based on the value of prizes, a portion of winnings may be withheld to satisfy IRS requirements. Winners will be required to complete and deliver all necessary local, state, and/or federal tax reporting documents to Delta, including but not limited to a W-9 form containing sensitive and private information of the winner, which forms and information will be used by Delta only for tax reporting purposes, and winners should send this information to Delta through an encrypted e-mail or via mail. Delta does not provide any tax advice to winners regarding the contest and/or prizes and the winner should consult with their tax advisors before accepting any prize.

    c. The prize(s) is/are not transferable.

    d. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted, except at the sole discretion of Delta.

    e. The winner may be required to execute and return within seven (7) days of date printed on notification, an Affidavit or Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, and any other documentation Delta reasonably requires for prize fulfillment.

    f. If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, the corresponding prize will be forfeited. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees that Delta and its independent judging organization accept no responsibility or liability in connection with injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or usage of the prize awarded hereunder.

    g. Delta reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend, or terminate the contest, without notice, for any reason, including, without limitation, if Delta determines that the contest cannot be conducted as planned, or should a virus, bug, tampering, or unauthorized intervention, technical failure, or other cause beyond Delta’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper play of the contest.

    h. Delta is not responsible for any errors in the offer or administration of the contest, including the posting of these official rules, inaccurate transcription of entry information, human error, technical malfunction, the inability to access any website or online service, selection or announcement of any winner, or distribution of any prize.

    i. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

    j. By entering this contest you agree that if you win a prize, Delta can publish your business name and location of business in any media now known or hereafter developed throughout the world, without limitation.

  6. Odds of Winning. Odds of winning the contest is 1 in 750 depending on the content creators who are eligible and enter, and will not be greater than 1 in 750.

  7. Winner Delta will contact the winner via USCCA Online Community Private Message by April 7.

  8. Prizes: The prize awarded and the ARV of the prize is as follows:

    a. One (1) winner will receive $1,649.95 ARV in prizes that will be fulfilled via actual physical items, and/or a check:
    i. Pelican V525 case $149.95 ARV
    ii. $1,500 ARV Visa Gift Card

  9. Void Where Prohibited by Law. This contest and your participation in it is void where prohibited by law.
