Well,.. ummm, cameras weren’t invented until a few thousand years after they went extinct

I have to say, until time travel is real,.. don’t hold your breath for that photo! :rofl::rofl:

What we do have is fossils and some mummified (frozen in permafrost) remains that we can look at.

For any really large and powerful big game: Big Cats, Wolves, Bear, etc, you want to stop them in their attack tracks with the first shot. If you are talking a hand gun vs. a rifle, or shotgun. I would favor.500 caliber.

If shotgun hollow point rifled deer slugs, or 00-Buck.

If rifle there are more than a few big game hunting rounds, starting with .300 and three digits to indicate a longer round with more power like .308 and up. 30-06, at least.

There are even bigger calibers for African Safari big game like RINOs.
