This started in Salt Lake City, of all places - if an armed assailant could get within 21 feet of an officer and still refused to drop his weapon, the officer was authorized to shoot him. I saw a video - there are many of them - where this rule was ignored. A psycho with a large knife was slowly stalking one of two officers who were about 30 feet apart. They BEGGED him to drop the knife repeatedly, but the nut got closer, and finally rushed one of them, who actually let him make CONTACT, forcing his partner to shoot and kill him. The “rushee” should’ve been fired, or spend the next 6 months on the “rubber gun squad”, flying a desk. FYI

TRUTH Brother.

Just remember folk’s (21’) is nothing to an Armed attacker. There are plenty of dead Police and First Responders who didn’t take the threat seriously till it was too late.

Don102 If the enemy wants to kill us 21. Foot Rule. Don’t apply!! I have said ever since I joined the uscca . A gun is not the Best way to Defend ourselves against an attack !! When the Bad Guys have Blades!! A Blade for a Blade!!! Brother i have been in so many Fights. At the end a blade is what i personally have seen . Out Run every thing outher then a Blade for a Blade. !!! Every thing happens so Fast unless someone has their edc at Ready ! It’s not going to end well , and. With so many of the Leaders of city’s that are for the criminals. They the politicians are the True enemies of the citizens of America!! Because if we act in time we become the aggressor!! If you were adequately prepared wouldn’t you need four of these? At six feet each you’d fall short with one; even if you bought the model with the 6-inch slider depth gauge.:roll_eyes:

These days we can carry laser ruler. It’s good for up to 300 feet.
