For those that are voting in person tomorrow, keep your head on a swivel. Hopefully nothing is going to happen, but in these days with the political divide, better safe than sorry. If your state allows it I would recommend carrying as usual as I am.
Who you vote for is your option and I respect you possibly having different political ideology. And I’m not going to push my views on you. All I care about is my extended family staying safe.
And hopefully we get a quick decision on the election and don’t have any riots in the months to come. To those who’ve already voted, I hope it was absentee, too make sure your vote is counted.
Hopefully everything moves fast and we can move forward peacefully. Anyway, stay safe and watchful.
Try not to let your guard down in the days following the election! A win and a decision may not quell the violence. They could just be reloading, if it doesn’t feel right in your gut, then it’s not.
So, running out to pickup that pack of cigarettes, six pack or just going for milk, if your gut says stay home, by all means stay home! Trust your instincts. We should all be at the top of our game now! Practice time is over! Watch your six, seven, nine and 12!
Luckily, I make my own cigarettes and living on a small town helps. BUT, that might not mean much, so I’m as prepaid as humanly possible. Plenty of Black Rifle Coffee, NOS energy drink, food and tomorrow I’m actually picking up some small pistol primers.
It’s not an “if” anymore it is a when. The Black Block has already stated that no matter who win’s the election the revolution begins tomorrow. They are emboldened by all of the protests and riots that have gone un answered. If Trump wins the news media will bludgeon him with the riots, it he looses they will become “Angry Trumps Supporters”. Stay sharp America things are about to get “Sporty”
Oh and if you haven’t noticed toilet paper and paper towels are getting harder to find than ammo. Stock up or resupply.
Yeah they’re pretty bold, if shtf they might be in for a surprise, sooner or later this is going to end. Best guess is that good folks are getting fed up. Either way all good advice above.
We natural buy a lot of paper goods, even without bad times. I was raised, the worse thing you can do is run out of “TP FOR YOUR BUNGHOLE” in the immortal words of the great cornholio.
Needless to say, the paper towel and tp companies are amazed at the profits this year. But, I’ve noticed it’s not that bad in the surrounding communities here YET.
We keep 1 in the vehicle and 3 in the house. Smoke detector batteries were all replaced this June, so that portion is somewhat covered. The cats even ready, saying “come at me bro”
Amen brother, amen. I was raised like this, if you don’t vote, you can’t complain. Voting is our constitutional obligation, we are the employers and the politicians are (supposed to be anyway) our employees.
I got up 20 minutes before our polling place opened. There were 15 people standing in line already. I had hoped to vote before I had to take the Boss for a Dr. appointment, but that didn’t happen. I also noticed that the county Sherriff had stopped by to check on things within the first hour.
It’s busy, and the parking lots were packed. No signs of trouble as yet.
What was that line from “Oval Office”? “Only Republicans, & farmers vote early”. I really hope we have a record turnout this year.
I was number 43 voting this morning. The ward I vote in has a couple of retirement homes so there were a lot of absentee votes. Those who voted absentee were noted in the master ballot book. That was good to see.
Unfortunately I haven’t been there YET, my sleep schedule is screwed up 6 ways from Sunday. We are headed there momentarily, as I said the polling station here has less voters, so hopefully, quick in quick out
I got up an hour early and went to vote with the wife. I had my big Tervis Tumbler full of coffee and didn’t wear a mask in line cuz I’m drinking coffee and got many jealous looks near by 'Doggone why didn’t I think of that?" One of the Dem ladies came down the line “Democratic vote cards” she had a “Toto” looking dog with her and the only person I saw take one was a guy that wanted to scritch the critter. 15 minutes later a young lass came down the line “Ballot cards” every other person took one, they were all red and laid out the R’s. So if my observational pole was correct it was 99% R and 1% D with a margin of error of 100%.
There were about 150 - 200 people in line at dawn not @Dawn and when I left after an hour there were still 75 - 100 in line. No scary guys in black, no dumb stuff, just folks standing 6’ apart staying warm. The turn out was not as big as in 2016, but WUHAN Flu so many I’m sure voted early and lines there were longer than the lines I saw on voting day.
