I recalled this hi point story from awhile back, and glad I could still find it. Despite not being on FB I was still able to read this …squib followed by 34 more rounds, returned due to “accuracy issues” lol
My earliest hi point story made me a fan of Nutnfancy although he didn’t influence me to buy a C9
This video was made at about the time I was considering buying my very first firearm.
Yeah, came close to buying one myself when that vid came out. Couple guys at work convinced me otherwise.
Back in CT, I made friends with a new neighbor, escapee from NY. We went to my club, he pulled out his hi-point and held it “gangsta style “ Maybe it was my face, but he straightened out his grip real quick. I sold him an AR, I still laugh how I took a photo of him with it that first day, which he immediately forwarded to all his buds in NY,and his phone lit up….I then explained how it’s best to keep some things hush hush, but appreciated his excitement. He calls me on father’s day as he said I’m the dad he never had. I think he’s up to about 20 firearms now, and is a real good shooter ![]()

Cool
thanks for sharing.
If I had a friendlier guy at the LGS, i could have bought a Hi-Point 9mm carbine. Nutnfancy did a great job testing it.
The new carbine is almost tooo pretty….
I want one of the old ones.
I cleaned one up for a buddy of mine many years ago, he never shot it and it was rusty and all the lube had turned into a hardened varnish…..
After days of soaking parts in solvent, wearing out a few wire brushes and steel wool pads I got it running.
Ugly as sin, but an absolute pleasure to shoot!
Then a couple years later, he sold it to a pawn shop for next to nothing! I was pissed.
Man, now I know where the pistol got its looks.
