Shooting Gloves - What do You Use and Why?

I’m seeing a lot of my shooting buddies using Mechanix gloves.. but since my Ironclads works great I never asked them about their experience.

My Ironclas are also not insulated… but I don’t want any insulation. For me, feel and touch is more important.

BTW, shooting in snow is fun… :snowman:

Got mine last week, I wear a Large, they seemed a little tight but stretched nicely to fit snug, so far, I like them.

They seem very well made and sturdy.

I got me a pair and they fit. They are very comfortable and like you said, you can feel the trigger with them. I will be using them. Thanks for the advice.

Not really as much for cold weather, but for general hand protection, classic leather-palmed fingerless cycling gloves could be a good option. The good, traditional cycling gloves come with a fairly sturdy leather pad in the palm that extends into the the thumb. Good for, say, heavy loads in a light revolver that really hammer the palm.

Aurther Rightus came to visit my wrists and overstayed his visit. LOL

I have a pair of weightlifting gloves from many years ago like those below.

I will wear them on bad days, and you can put a pain patch under the wrap

for extra help. Works for me.
