Sounds good in theory but I wouldnt count on it keeping you safe. Look at Portland, they target police and first responders.
In wartime medics are sometimes designated high value targets.

I’m aware of medics being targets I was one in warzones or high conflict areas. Hence neutral. I’m not going to be at a “peaceful protest” where rioters and looters are going to be.
I was talking specifically of mass shootings and identifying myself as a good guy. I would do all I could for every victim, but if it was safe I would keep bad guy alive til the professionals arrived.
