Sac County parks are GFZs 
Schools? Parks? Seems they like to make the kids pretty easy targets?
Gun Free zones are where only the criminals can carry. Everyone else has a fair chance at becoming a victim.
I can carry in any local, State, or National park in Michigan without restriction. New York (city and state) have some of the toughest anti gun laws in the country.
This is a big deal. The whackos in Oregon just passed an obscure bill making most public places off limits for concealed carriers (that will be ignored), but it’d be nice if the court ruled in our favor.
I wish I could say that I am optimistic, but sadly I am not. The Second Circuit is almost certainly going to uphold the ban, and SCOTUS appears to have gotten weak in the knees again when it comes to 2A issues. I was very optimistic about 2A issues coming before the court after Bruen, but it would appear that Bruen is not worth the paper it is written on as SCOTUS seems to be content to let the lower courts ignore it. Fortunately, I live in a fairly 2A friendly state (FL), but I certainly feel for those who don’t.
