Does anyone have an opinion regarding Ross Martin Handguns. I’m considering the RM1C 9MM for my carry.

@William1376 : I have a Rost Martin RM1C. It is a well-made 9mm which is assembled in the Dallas, TX area. I am in the Northern USA so I mostly carry my RM1C OWB during the winter and IWB during the warmer months. It is Accurate, easy to service and eats everything that I give it, from 115 to 147. I have not had an ammo failure of any kind, so far.
The only negative is that I feel that the trigger is “gritty” and not smooth. Bothered me enough to purchase an aluminum upgraded Performance trigger. Unfortunately, this felt “gritty” to me, as well. The good news is after about 200 rounds, the “grittiness” seems to be smoothing out.
I’ve had positive and timely interactions with their Customer Service and find their “Accessories” pricing to be decent. I like the fact that if I wanted to Comp. my RM1C, I only have to buy a new barrel and slide and then reassemble.
What questions do you have?
Peter,
Thank you for responding to my question regarding the RM1C.
I presently carry an M&P Shield 9mm, but it is a small-frame handgun and it feels small in my hand. It is a single stack which makes the grip thin. I love it but I’m ready for something with a little more fitting for my hand. I have a 1911, but I don’t want to carry it on a daily basis. So I appreciate your review on the Ross Martin RM1C. Stay safe and keep shooting.
