the same thing can happen with factory loads
CCI #11 caps brand new failed wile out deer hunting
gummed up the rifle so it would not go off
glad it was only hunting and not life or death

I have found that items that are cheap are just that, cheap! I use match gold primers or Match CCI primers. Each piece of brass after it has been inspected for cracks or deformations is loaded then gauged and measured before it gets a pass. If I find three that do not get a pass out of 50, I go back and recheck all of my adjustments and take another 50 and see what happens.
