Fleeting
Living only in the moment can bring its own difficulties. The past can form a foundation for the now as we progress into the future. Based on past experience, we can project a ‘blueprint’ onto the future to guide our actions toward a desired end.
Past/Present/Future are an entwined trinity which can be formed into a singularity through the power of human intelligence and will. Floating along in the now is akin to riding in a sailboat without a rudder. One may be able to see where one’s been, but have no power (such as it may be) over where one’s headed.
