- UnknownI would argue that having a gun in the home plays no part in the likelihood of a child being killed by a gun. Now, having an irresponsible gun owner in the home is a completely different story. I would again argue that every unintentional child death by a gun in the home started with an irresponsible gun owner, not simply the gun itself.
