That’s a tough one to dispute. He did say “Let’s stop attacking pedophiles” in the same sentence he was saying,
”Let’s stop murders. How about we all come together and stop rape.” it was what is called in the business a “gaffe”, but liberals jumped all over him for it. The discussion was in the context of STOPPING crime, but liberals had a field day with it. As usual, CONTEXT is ignored by the leftists.
For those who actually pay attention to what politicians support in an ongoing basis, this was an obvious gaffe. For example, here is Ted Cruz grilling Mark Zukerberg at a Senate hearing about Instagram’s policy regarding “Child sex warning screens” on the platform.
