There is something deeply disturbing about how unhinged the anti Trump contingent has been and how they seem to be escalating.
A former friend of mine who I let live in my home for 2 years while he tried to recover from his job loss and subsequent divorce. A guy that I bent over backwards to help. We never talked politics other than I was Libertarian.
So couple of weeks ago, he is blowing my Facebook page up. I have never posted on Facebook, I made it because one of the rescue/foster groups I belong to used Facebook to push messages to about emergency foster needs. My step sister (only family member I acknowledge) calls me and tells me my page is getting blown up. So I log on and he had linked/shared dozens if not hundreds of Anti Trump messages. So I send him a very simple “please stop”.
Good Freaking Lord, he loses his 
, he tells me it his duty to expose me for the Nazi I am, who must face justice for my bigotry, that he will not allow me to hide my secret intolerance plus a bunch of other selfrighteous 
. I guess he thought he meant more to me than he does, because I unfriend him on Facebook, (btw it’s next to impossible to close a Facebook page, if you know how to delete one please send me directions) then he starts blowing up my phone, so I block him there, then he uses wife’s/both of his daughters/ and his sons phone so I block those. Crazy man, just freaking crazy.
Edit: if this sounds familiar this is the 3rd time I’ve had friends lose it over Trump.
If they are so ready to dump you over political positions, maybe they weren’t really your friends to begin with. Just a thought.
