500 Bucks and you are ready to protect a school with a firearm? Well intentioned but terribly thought out and implemented.
Get veterans who are unemployed both would be happy to do it even disabled veterans
A common scourge throughout history.
I think using Vets is a great thing
I’m seriously thinking about doing it, just need to figure out how to work it around my regular job work schedule.
With banks being federally protected and our Governers are protected by the state LEO’s, and schools are public schools, I have to ask, who is responsible for public school protection? If they are ran by the government (the state) should not the state be responsible for any protection? or does the protection of schools fall upon the public to protect?
You got me. In our town we used to have police school officers at each high school and middle school. Then our DEI useless superintendent decided that having a police officer onsite was too much of a distraction and sent the wrong message about “Inclusivity”. Geez I cannot stand that word. As soon as the cop was gone they began having near riots in the hallways. So, instead of preventing them with a school resource officer, the cops were forever charging over to the school to break up the fights. That’s what “feeling good” and DEI buy you.
In reading the article it talks of “volunteers” as these guards. What if any “legal” jurisdiction will these volunteers have. Will they have the right to arrest. Will local law enforcement and local DA’s and Judges back up their actions. I can’t speak for Utah, but we pulled our son from public school in CA for a number of reasons, gang influence and how it influenced his education being one. How will non law enforcement personnel deal with this? At too many schools the threat isn’t from the outside as much as from within. Are these volunteers going to be ready to deal with both?
One only needs to send $ trillions to the teachers union for things to change.
You guys need an education!
