Pretty much tells the tale – it’s the culture not the gun

Yep. Guns aren’t new. This is solely on crappy progressive police’s, most of which the Democrats have embraced and the Republicans have refused to refute. But they’re going to lie about the causes and ignore the consequences respectfully.

When I was Growing and going to school in GA. I heard that some schools had shooting teams and some even had shooting ranges on school grounds. This was back around the 50’s and 60’s.

When I look at something like Alcatraz and Manhattan I see very little difference for the most part. Take away outdoor life, be satisfied to be confined to a “space” and you get this. I grew up in SoCal. In the 60’s you could go dozens of places to shoot, fish, ride dirt bikes, etc. with population growth all that’s been shut down. 3 ranges I belonged to closed as “civilization encroached”. Now instead of freedom you have rules and regulations that all say “no” to what we once enjoyed. If people no longer fish, hunt, shoot, boat, ride ATVs etc. and you outlaw or restrict it as in the city, they go right along because for them it’s no loss to them. I had an airplane in the 70’s. Was affordable and plenty of airports. Most general aviation airports are now closed. Homes went in, didn’t like the noise, shut them down. Bottom line, most people think this way “if I don’t do it then you can’t do it.” If people don’t exercise freedom then they don’t miss it when it’s gone.
