I agree 100 percent. I raised 2 pit bulls mixed brother and sister, Rock and Cleo who both lived well into their teen years and when I had to put them down I cried like a baby. They are our family.

sounds about like our 2 Wamda3. You toss the ball and they take off after it , and then leave it when they find out it’s not a dog biscuit or treat.

Looking back in time, it’s amazing how important animals are to kid.
The Yellow dog is Zero 1/2 Beagle !/2 Lab
The horse is a colt from a couple of range horses
The Black Lab is Belle Barkley
The Yellow lab (Don’t recall the name)

I remember a post here a few years back, it was a group of dogs meeting someone on a trail, they were all smiling and wagging, I think it was called the trail to heaven or something like that.
