Oh, the Irony

Especially with the military parade and 250 year celebration coming up. This crap shouldn’t be tolerated.

The problem is acting like it’s a one-party issue, so I agree with you to that extent.

I’m not going to deny that there have been incidents that appear to be assassination attempts, nor that they were politically motivated. I question why you think those political motivations were based on left leaning ideals.

As I pointed out previously, the first shooter was a Republican, the second was a former Trump voter who got mad at trump for whatever reason.

Lol. Free speech shouldn’t be tolerated because someone wants a birthday parade? Go team 'merica.

I detest Comey and all he stands for. That being said I can’t believe they will charge him with a death threat against POTUS. It does keep the pot stirred though!

I cannot tell you what to like or detest. I can ask you not to detest anyone and to MAGA.

Interesting how we focus on what a has been political hack posted on social media. Or a report that a has been president just discovered he has a cancer that took years to get to the level it is reported to be at. While we ignore Ukraine and Gaza civilians being bombed. China has got to be loving this crap.

Threatening to kill the president is against the law. It isn’t free speech.

Additionally, just because it is legal to say something/anything, doesn’t mean that you should. It also doesn’t mean that someone won’t tar and feather you in a place without cameras…so there’s that.

“threatening to kill the president is against the law. It isn’t free speech.”

That’s a legal conclusion you have reached because you have convinced yourself that 86 means assassinate.

Whether you should say something is irrelevant to whether or not it is permitted to say something.

You’re correct that exercising free speech doesn’t relieve someone from the consequences of said speech. I do find it ironic that your idea of consequences for exercising free speech is violence, however.

Explain to me what mean, means. No I was responding to @George98. If there is no avatar in the right hand corner, it means it is a reply to the post right above it or just a reply in general.

Team blue could have not burned their own cities. They could let students at their school, learn. they could do a lot of things, but instead of contributing to society, they choose to exercise free speech. so, yeah…I like free speech, but truly, most of these “people” should have something better to do.

I could probably track down hundreds of examples of people on both sides doing things when they should have better things to do. You’re definitely not wrong about that.

I 100% agree. It isn’t a red/blue thing, just a human thing. It is just that of late…it has been a lot of blue exercising free speech (and hate) and a lot of restraint from team red…but that is just right now.

Also agree with it being more frequent from the blue right now.
