This could be terminology, depends on definition of “emergency reload”.
If it means slide locked back due to current magazine being empty, then everything @Jerzees posted is possible.
However, if emergency reload refers to an issue where tap, rack, and fire didn’t resolve issue, then I could picture a round partially striped off the magazine jamming it up.
