I’m sorry to hear that Nevada is so anti gun
One of the other posters who is a regular here thought NV was the best gun laws state in the nation but here you tell me open carry is effectively illegal in the whole state.
That’s a bummer

You can have that dump.
Enjoy.
Yeah, then why do you bother getting a permit?
I lived there for almost twenty years myself. I was in the business of dealing with this very thing, i.e., security. Blackjack dealer, hotel manager, etc.
Dunno which bar you walked into, but you wouldn’t get away with carrying a pistol in the open in my casino, tell ya that right now, nor any casino I’ve ever worked in. That story you told is in some dive somewhere, the bartender was just as drunk as you were and the whole thing probably staged.
Vegas is nothing more than an extention of L.A. anymore. Your Cali folk are telling you how to live now, Not I.
Personally, I had plenty of arguments with management about this very thing. Why not allow folks to carry open in the casino? What’s the difference? It didn’t bother me any. But try to get that argument past the Leftist queers who run Las Vegas now and you’ll be shut down immediately.
I will advise once again: do not carry your gun in the open in Las Vegas. Not a good idea.
I think that the vast majority of the state of Nevada is not the inside of a casino on the strip.
Inside Vegas strip casinos, concealed carry seems the better choice.
@Karacal has been telling me for over a year now ![]()
