Massive solar flares hit tonight causing the brightest Auroras I’ve ever seen! Bear in mind, these pictures are taken with a cellphone in the middle of the city, on an industrial lot with LOADS of artificial lighting….

There’s an even bigger flare (5x more powerful) that should impact sometime tomorrow!

Looking at the moon in the picture above….

I recently acquired a pice of that!

About a quarter (coin) sized slice of a meteorite dubbed “starry night” which was scientifically proven to be a lunar meteor!

About six inches of freshly fallen snow this morning. Power went out about 4 a.m. Havent seen a snow plow yet. Gonna try to make coffee or tea at least over the kerosene heater.

Take that back. Never, ever utter the S word. lol

That is as bad as saying the R word at track day!

Well, my track days were always in the four-wheeled vehicular transport type, so the “r” word was generally quite fun. :winking_face_with_tongue:

That said, I can also appreciate your perspective on this.

I get tired of the little snows that are just a nuisance to clean up. I love a good nor’easter, however. Years ago we got two back to back Friday into Monday. 40 inches of snow. Schools were shut down for a week. Being snowed in with the wife for a week? Yeah. That was good.

That is very neat looking. I’m not sure I am a fan of what is happening there, though. Seems a bit sus.

My only theory is it’s something to do with earth’s magnetic field?

Something similar to an aurora, but not?

Or its end times, smoke em if you got em!?
