Sooo,… maybe not natural wonders,… but also natural wonders!

SpaceX had several failures on its starship, then several successful flights, then changed starship, and had several more failures….

Starship 10 was beautiful flight as per plan, all the way to splashdown in the Indian Ocean.

(Keep in mind enemy’s of the United States, we have private citizens who can do what your entire country can’t!)

Anyway,… Some of the screen grabs I thought were awesome of the plasma that has historically blocked communication to reentering vehicles.

In the video on SpaceX website, you can see the plasma burning away parts of the flaps, and even blowing out and burning up part of the booster shield….

None the less, they could’ve landed it in theory!

Looking down the fuselage at just before splashdown

And from the seaborne buoy at the planned return point….

Again, not necessarily natural wonders, however it’s an exploration of nature above and beyond most governments ability…..

Ohh, and the failures of the heat shields were planned-ish,… they’re intentionally removing heat shields to see where burn through may happen… and how they could affect the system landing on another planet….

This Weekend’s Rare Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse Will Turn the Moon Red for 82 Minutes—Here’s How to Watch

A blood moon lunar eclipse will delight space enthusiasts this weekend, offering a glimpse of the spectacular phenomenon for the second time this year.

The lunar eclipse will occur on the night of Sept. 7 and will be visible across Asia and Western Australia with night sky watchers possibly able to catch it from Europe, Africa, eastern Australia, and New Zealand, Space.com reported. Unfortunately, the eclipse will not be visible from either North or South America.

New interstellar comet discovered! (Originally discovered in July 2025)

It’s as much as 3.5 miles in diameter, and is moving at around 130,000 miles and hour!

Closest approach to earth will be something like 177 million miles (the moon orbits around 230 thousand miles)

Oddly enough, it is cutting through the solar system almost exactly on the planetary plane?

Beautiful!

Most of my time visiting in Utah was spent in and north of Salt Lake, I do miss the landscape and scenery.

Bryce canyon is in my top 5 scenic places. Spent the better part of a day there just watching the color of the canyon change as the sun passed overhead…stunning.

Magical place!
