Keep them where they are at. Good locations, or atleast decent locations dont want them. Local govts want them for taxes but locals generally don’t. Keep the traffic, taxes, and politics in 1 area. Right where its at

The term “Islamophobia” was coined not that long ago. It is a term of art (just as is “transphobia” ) which is used rhetorically and meant to imply that anyone who disagrees with or does not support Islam is somehow mentally ill, hence the use of the suffix “-phobia.”

- A persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of a specific thing or situation that compels one to avoid it, despite the awareness and reassurance that it is not dangerous.
Do you understand the difference? If one’s opinion of a person, group, religion, etc., is founded on factual and empirical evidence, then by definition it is neither a phobia or a prejudice.
Do you also understand that “radical jihadists” represent an estimated 300,000,000 (three hundred million) people globally? That’s no mere faction or splinter group. That is a massive population who believe themselves to have the right, by holy mandate, to dominate the entire world through the forced conversion or execution of any and all people who do not agree with them. Why do you think that other Arab/Islamic nations in the Middle East refuse to accept refugees from Gaza? It’s because they have experienced first-hand the chaos and violence and bloodshed they inevitably bring with them.
Even your passive, “I’m OK, you’re OK” philosophy needs to be tempered by existential reality.

This “involving recreational shooting on a nearby property,” and this (from another article) “But where did the shots come from? The sheriff’s office told ABC Houston affiliate KTRK three people were shooting at targets in the area.” confuses me.
Were they really that bad with firearms and that dumb to not look beyond the targets?

I used to shoot on a piece of private land that boarded up to cattle grazing and oil/gas fracking….
Once the oil field traffic got too heavy, I quit shooting out there, just too dangerous!
Sure enough a year or so later I heard that there was a suit over an oil worker getting hit.
I find it extremely unlikely these 3 were simply ignorant of what was down range when they opened fire.
Not impossible when I look at the idiocy I see come out of India in regards to firearms,…. It’s just this isn’t India.
