The people who would want cake have already been removed.
Trump spoke about a military pay raise just recently, and celebrated with the men & women in Qatar.

At least it’s transparency, we know where the money will be going, and THIS time, its for America! (Not to make bureaucrats rich or strengthen the democratic party)
The MOST TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION IN HISTORY!

How is throwing a parade “for america”? Genuine question.

Maybe I should have said “For patriotic Americans.” (People who appreciate our military, and the strength it conveys) We used to have military parades and they were great.

Honestly stooping to Russia’s level just seems super stupid and lame to me.

Every once in a while the right answer really is to ‘Jab’ ‘Cross’ ‘Hook’ ‘Round House’…

Celebrating 250 years is neither lame nor stooping to anyone’s level; it’s standing up as proud, free and respectful Americans. It’s thanking our armed services for allowing us to enjoy that freedom. It’s recognizing the sacrifices that everyone who has donned a uniform, past and present, as well as for those who will tomorrow, has made. It’s about love of country, pride of the red, white & blue. It’s about celebrating America.

Lol. So you have no actual response to the question and post your default meme? That checks out.

I almost believe this. Almost.

Well, I guess you can move that over to the I believe column. Because I would definitely would go to a Parade that featured our Military for all of those reasons @ZoldFrog mentioned.

Yup. An American military parade is strictly for American patriots. No one else will appreciate it.

It’s this part I disagree with.

The rest makes sense.

Despite that, those heroes will continue to protect our homeland and our freedoms.

Most. Sure.

Some who have served and want to continue to serve are being openly disrespected by this administration and having their service involuntarily terminated. But, sure, this parade honors all service members, including them right?

That’s right, you get thrown out your do not get honored.

Oh? Even when they’ve served honorably and their discharge has nothing to do with the quality of their service?

It’s not hard to just admit that you’ll honor people who have served selectively based on whether you like who the service member is, instead of how they have contributed to serving our country.

I respect and am thankful for everyone who has chosen to serve this country, assuming they did so honorably. I am also proud that we will be celebrating 250 years of their willingness to defend us.
