For us old, retired soldiers, it amazing how young an 04 and an 06 looks to us.

Oh man! So true! I don’t miss that one bit. Many, almost every, NATO soldier after seeing our rucks, laughed and said ‘you are idiots’ to carry that much! Couldn’t argue.
