State Farm had no choice but to cancel and walk away from CA. They were losing money on policies in CA due to the fires, they saw that the situation wasn’t going to get better and asked state regulators to allow them to raise rates. CA told them to pound sand. So, State Farm (and others) did what any business would do that can’t at least break even…closed shop and left.

I avoid it where ever possible… tracked enough IMHO…

I use Bing instead of Google because I believe (fingers crossed) they track you a whole lot less than Google. At least they used to, not sure about now.
