People who prepare for disruptions to social order. It is about facing perceived threats. This doesn’t ring out, embracing a positive light. As for being prepared, I am personally all for it. I, however, do not kid myself that it is about having a positive outlook.
There is a huge difference to being prepared for an eventuality and one of a perceived threat.
Make real whatever view point you wish… Churches and political parties depend on it…
I don’t see it unless one is superstitious and think carrying a gun is going to entice criminal activity. Which seems impossible if one is responsible armed.

I think if it is done responsibly it is a positive outlook. I think you are looking at it through the eyes of someone who is not responsible.

Yeah but it is not. Saving innocent lives is an act of love. The left doesn’t think. Their emotions are controlling them. If they thought they would be rational. My 2¢
It is one thing to prepare for an eventuality… It is a total different thing to prepare for what you think, might be a threat that never happens.
I am not addressing a self-fulfilling prophecy. More to the mindset that, I need to do this to save my life or someone else … This is not really embracing a positive outlook. I do however totally agree with being prepared for life challenges.
