It says Porter fired 3 rounds at the ICE officer. Was that before or after he was shot?

What was American Tradition at one time, shooting guns in the air in city limits is no longer allowed and is illegal no matter what, but there are some that defy the law. Bullets coming down from being fired into the air have hurt/killed innocents. Shoot off arial illegal fireworks which many do is better than shooting firearms.

Well, it did not specify, supposedly he HAD to write SOMETHING to that effect (fired three shots at him) on his report “TO MAKE IT LOOK GOOD!” 
The three shots fired were probably the American Tradition fired into the air for New Years.

“KABC-TV said the officer ordered Porter to put down his weapon, but Porter did not comply. A statement from the Department of Homeland Security added that Porter fired three shots at the officer, who then returned fire, killing Porter.

Last year in Miami, 10-year-old Yaneliz Munguia was celebrating with her family outside when she was fatally struck by a bullet in the back of the head. Police believed the culprit had fired a celebratory shot into the air, WTVJ-TV reported.
A woman in Houston met a similar fate by random “celebratory” gunfire on New Year’s Eve in 2019, when “a stray bullet fell from the sky and struck 61-year-old Philippa Ashford at her home,” according to KPRC-TV. “She died after being hit in the neck.”

You can imagine the many reports being told. Once a bullet came through the roof of a vehicle on the passenger side and right through the floorboard between the legs of the passenger. Talk about LUCK!!!
