From what Iâve heard, the dilema is that many of Iranâs nuclear program sites are deep underground in fortified bunkers. Isreal does not have a bomb big enough to penetrate. The US does (GBU-57 MOP). But Isreal also doesnât have a bomber plane big enough to drop this bomb. So a US plane with a US pilot on a US mission is needed to take out these bunkers - meaning the US is offensively entering the war (not just defensively helping to shoot down Iranian missles) or selling the bombs to Isreal like we are doing in Ukraine.

I view this through short-term and long-term benefits lens for the USA. Of course allies, blah blah, but is this going to solve problems for America or create problems for America?
How many times Iran leaders called for death to America? A few times too many, considering their past inching toward nukes while they held US diplomats for fools for decades. This is a window of opportunity to tear this gun out of mullahs hands, and it may not open again.
There is 99% chance Iran has sleeper cells here and they will lash out (I leave 1% chance that Iranâs military leaders are complete idiots and didnât take advantage of our inviting borders). Well, we can wait till the sleepers have suitcase nukes or we can take chances with them now.
Is this going to provoke NoKo, Russia or China â I have no idea, there is no NoKo mentioned in whatever scroll passes in Iran for constitution, but the Great Satan is mentioned there clearly, and how to deal with the Great Satan.
Iâm pretty sure Iran and other enemies do have sleeper cells in the USA thanks to the non-existent borders of the previous admin. Taking away their leaders and capabilities will not change that.
Our best hope now is that we either find them and flush them out of the country. OR, that free of their chains to the evil back home they discover how good freedom is and scrap their plans and assimilate to a better life.
