What Grisham is doing is illegal and will not be enforced. The SCOTUS has already made it clear in previous rulings that this will not fly. That however will not stop gun control activist from looking for weak spots in the constitution. I think the real shots being fired are coming from California Governor Gavin Newsome who is calling for a special session of Congress in hopes of ratifying the constitution and the 2nd amendment. He has found out that the 2nd amendment is bullet proof, so he wants to ratify it to be able to control gun possession country wide. This is where the true tyranny and evil lurks, within this sick twisted pos in California. Jmho!

A simple and short question. Why aren’t gun groups suing or push the NM senate for breach of oath? She swore to uphold the NM and US constitutions, and both have the right to bear arms. We need to start going after these ppl to get them out of office as well as making them back down. If it’s a money problem these orgs need to start a go fund me page and spread the word
They will only start taking their oaths seriously when they see their comrades getting kicked out.

I am nearly certain she will not be impeached. She may be privately “encouraged” to resign, but it’s even odds as to whether she will listen. There are several ongoing lawsuits, and impeachment articles have apparently been filed, though I doubt anything will come of them.

I would be surprised if she gets impeached given the number of Democratic Representatives in NM. I also doubt she has hurt her chances in primary elections with a Democratic base. But she has lost the independent vote and likely has no chance in a general election.
Though I suspect Biden’s handlers would be happy to make her head of the ATF or the anti gun violence czar if he wins a second term. and I’m sure there are plenty of anti self defense organizations who will hire her to a cushy consulting gig if he doesn’t.

There should be a law against having czars. Every non elected position of leadership in the government should be tried before elected officials. This is a slippery slope to tyranny.

Of course she won’t be impeached, and she will be reelected. Isn’t this what the democrat party is all about. erase the parts of the constitution that they disagree with. They don’t need no stinkin 2A, or 4A ,or 1A, They don’t have these freedoms in china, why would we need them here. The problem is liberals need to be told who to vote for, and cnn ,msnbc, their unions are all glad to tell them. I have a brother-in-law, totally against the open border, but my niece says he listens to cnn all day, union man, said that the union says that republicans want to take away social security, and end their union rights and benefits. cnn says that conservatives are against legal immigration etc. you get the drift. So he votes democrat. no matter what has been happening to this country the past 2 1/2 years, the union says vote democrat so he will. I’ve tried to reason with him, that voting democrat, means voting for an open southern border. It means voting for higher gas prices, food prices, higher inflation, but the union says vote democrat. he, and other otherwise intelligent people will. They overlook the democrats enriching themselves, at least they don’t have to read mean tweets. I think democrats in general, along with the liberal media are inciting open rebellion.
And I do realize that republican politicians also seek to enrich themselves, just not quite so openly.
Term limits and voting with our brains and not emotions would be a step in the right direction.

I beleive she’s ineligible to run this next election. She’ll have to sit out an election, then try to run again. Soft term limits, I guess you’d call it.
I think there should be hard term limits for every political position, as well as a limit for any time spent in government.
