HUD Section 8 Housing - Ohio - Firearms in light of SB 215

Effective 13-June-2022, Ohio SB 215 takes effect.

That is Ohio’s Constitutional Carry Law.

I understand HUD is “silent” on the issue and tends to defer to the “State Law” when it comes to firearms.

My question is, would it be legal, in light of Ohio SB 215, for a person to possess a firearm in their HUD Section 8 Apartment?

You could get a valid answer by contacting the Ohio authority in charge of the projects (public housing).

In any event, nothing will stop the thugs living with their mothers and grandmothers from having firearms and dealing drugs. Public housing is a cesspool.
