How fast can you draw your weapon from your tactical backpack?
Get those holster wedges, they reduce printing quite a bit.
I donât. The bag is for "extra everything "! I usually carry IWB at 4:00 and an extra mag at 9. I can usually draw and fire in less than 2 sec. Hopefully, I wonât ever need to get into the bag for more.
Geiger counter?
Yes Russ I go shooting a lot in the Arizona desert and some times there is what they call pitchblen and it is radioactive so you donât want to hang around it for very long.
Off-topic a little. When hiking with the fam or wearing gym shorts. I use my sling bag- medical and other supplies. I can draw in 2 seconds. Sometimes under 2
IWB holster. Roomy shirts that donât hug you. Good solid belt. Use good posture when bending down. Reach up carefully with weak hand to get a item at store. If one is a tucked shirt kind, consider a tuckable IWB option. If one has a small enough pistol, pocket carry with a good quality pocket holster.
Thatâs one thing I havenât found is a good tuckable holster. I like my Tier1 and JM Kydex holsters but I canât get enough of my shirt in and the shirt ends up looking stupid. Have any suggestions?
Alien gear has tuckable options. Maybe UrbanCarryHolsters.com. Otherwise I never pack that way. Always untucked.
Winter time carry is the best. I can tuck my AR into my coat and nobody is the wiser.
Iâll checkout Alien gear too. The Urban Carry has those Sports Belts which from what I can tell should be easy enough to wear if I need to tuck-in my shirt for something nice like a wedding, formal dinner, etc.
Otherwise, his pants would be down around his knees!
When Iâm concerned about printing I just donât wear a shirt. No shirt = no printing right?
but brandishing ![]()
The turns this thread is taking are not making things better.
Thatâs off topic! Weâre only talking about printing here!
But the wrong printing avoidance can bring more problems.
It is still on topic ![]()
