We’ll see where it goes. 2A has been in the conversation more frequently in recent times, let’s hope that it lands on the side freedom.

USCCA’s website for its legislative &fund .ogr

Posted over a half a million petition signatures were obtained, and over 150k letters sent to congress via their efforts. And we have over 600K members of participating in this effort.

I think that is a great start.

National carry permit will never pass unless the Supreme Court says permits are not needed to carry. Otherwise, what would be the requirements to have a national carry permit - the strictest state becomes the standard? So everyone will need to comply with NJ and CA standards to get a national carry permit?

This is an update on the status of the H.R. 38 bill on Constitutional Concealed Carry National Reciprocity
Act bill, on Tuesday, March 24, it did get “marked up” and moved out of committee where it could have died, and advance to the floor for full vote.

That’s great, it still alive. I don’t know when that vote is scheduled. When you want something passed it never seems fast enough.

When you don’t want something past it seems to flash by.

I’ll try to find out more, and post another update when I do.

The above :up_arrow: link has some interesting reads on 2A legal issues…

We are making some progress. We can always do better. Like have the Supreme Court impose the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause over the states and reaffirm that the Second Amendment (2A) is the law of the land. Not to be usurped or infringed on.

But, in the meantime there are a lot of individual issues to contend with.
