High End & Most Expensive 1911's

https://www.classicfirearms.com/contest/

Taran Tactical Innovations Pit Viper 2011 Pistol

I don’t know if this is the most expensive but it has to be up there and it could be yours for free.

Beware entering this contest will lead to getting several emails a day from classic firearms. I recommend using a temporary email.

If you win you have to let me shoot a magazine or two through it:)

First off i couldn’t read that post without hearing it in a Hank Hill voice. Second im alone in my house. My service dog is outside. Who is there to feel unsafe?

This is a bit of a running joke here with some seriousness behind it but mostly good natured ribbing.

But now I will forever associate @Jerzees as having Hank Hill’s voice:)

You learn your habits everyday. You follow 4 safety rules everytime you keep a firearm in your hand. Your bad actions learned bacome a habit and then you won’t pay attention to those bad habits whenever you are between others.
Simple like that.
I’m not picking on you… This became a “tradition” at this Community some time ago. Every single picture with violation of 4 safety rules has been criticized.
And this is the true value of this Community. We say something if we see something wrong.

I definitely do. Doesn’t matter if it’s a firearm, Nerf Gun, or drill. It just feels natural to have my finger in that position until I need it to do its thing.

Well I guess when I buy my next Nighthawk in 10mm I’ll just keep my pictures to myself. Never had a negligent or accidental discharge in my entire life. Now to keep to the original topic. Lets see everyone elses high end and most expensive 1911’s not just stock photos that are photoshopped. I cant believe i went through the trouble to post these pics for all of you for you to yell safety violation on a pic where my finger was not even touching the trigger guard, the gun was confirmed unloaded and the hammer was down. Sorry but i was unable to put the safety on while the hammer is down.

Also I keep my finger on my left hand completely off the guard because it won’t reach up to the slide. That finger was severely injured cut down to the bone in a knife fight. That finger has also been broken before as well that’s why it is curved downward. If you zoom in you’ll see a scar of a v-cut all the way at the top of of that finger.

I think I would have to send you a formal invitation to your personal email to get the 900 points. But good luck on the drawing!

I don’t find much point in dreaming about overly expensive firearms, cars, or houses. I know that is not the point of the thread but for myself any handgun I buy (being a disabled vet on a fixed income) has to hit what I call my ARC criteria. That is Affordable, Reliable, & Concealable. Hell, I was stoked when I bought my very first 1911 last month and trust it was nowhere near 2-3k.

That is just a link from their regular website contest page. Would be great if everyone who clicked on it gave me 900 more points but I don’t see how that could happen since I wasn’t signed in and didn’t go through my email.

Can’t help you out on the Facebook issue. I am a life long Facebook denier. I’ve never had an account with them and probably never will even if they paid me to. Though might consider it if your offer is in the 6 figure range Mr. Zuckerberg;)

I could conceal it with the beard if they made a holster.

They do. Chest holster should work. Just find the color that matches your beard.
You can also make a holster toupee.

When its all combed out straight it looks different colors in different lighting. Plus my back is actually too messed up for it and i just had another back injury Tuesday. Thats why I didn’t get the pictures posted until Thursday after I said i would post them Wednesday. I was just joking about hiding it in my beard. I had a hummingbird land in my beard once. Lol. I wish i would’ve had my phone on me.

I saw that and appreciate you posting the photos - I am happy for you and hope you enjoy your Night Hawk for many years to come :+1:

Hope you can find a comfortable position to be in until your back recovers!
