Yes ma’am!! I am a U.S Air Force veteran!! Served for 8 years at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC. Served proudly in Operation Desert Storm and Southern Watch.
That’s where I was introduced to my first real M-16…good times!
I was a C-130 Navigator, flew WC-130 into hurricanes, and HC-130 to refuel helicopters, primarily.
I want to thank all vets for their service to this country and I recognize that without you men and women this wouldn’t be the land of the free and the home of the brave.
I was in the Air Force from 1973 to 1977 active duty. I was in a too secret job. Cryptology is just maintaining and repairing Crypto machines that encode messages, talk or type of radio. (All communication) I was fortunate to be stationed at a beautiful base called Langley Air Force Base ADCS headquarters and was picked and trained ,(approximately 87 weeks of tech schools) and was sent to others bases and the pentagon and naval bases etc in my job and repaired equipment. I would have stayed in and was offered 55,000 to reenlist, but they could not pay me per-diem as a unmarried man and I did not wish to stay in the dorms any longer.

Yes. Flew a Rockwell OV10 Bronco. Light armed recon aircraft. A bitch to handle but get the job done! She was a good ole girl.
