Fun games w/shooting pals

One great thing about having a bunch of pals to shoot with is making up games to break away from the monotonous target practice.

Grab a sharpie and a target backer and have fun.

What do you do to spice up range time?

After I shoot the regular B27 target and there is anything visible at front, I turn it to back (white) side and draw 2 inch circles at remaining spaces. These are perfect to practice accuracy with presenting the gun from compressed or low ready position.
Even better when competing with my son :ok_hand:

So this is funny — the Hartford Gun Club is a huge facility and the oldest gun club in America. We don’t have a dueling tree! It’s weird.

I can’t begin to count the number of beers won and lost at the dueling tree. You know you’re in it when you are on your third mag change and nobody has missed yet!

Cheers,

I keep a deck of cards and small paper plates in my range bag and add them to targets to add challenges. Headshots on face cards at 2-3 yards. Taping a card to the target so it’s edge is facing you and splitting the card.
And end the day with a beer or two at the Blind Squirrel.

Does the Hartford gun club have a connection to the Parker (Meriden Ct.) family?
