Almost all of my young friends shoot like this. It is just like track days. They think they have good body position…but then the pics come out.
I often video myself at the range. Then I can see what I’m actually doing and not just what I think I’m doing.

I see this all of the time. They are trying to get away from the recoil and noise. No disrespect toward your friend, but most of the time I see this from women.
