I wouldn’t worry about it, not even a little.
And I’ll bet that if you put the three over a chrono and calculated muzzle energy the 124gr FMJ would be closer to the 124gr defensive ammo than the 147 is. And I’ll bet if you got down to really precisely measuring out of a ransom rest, the POI is probably closer between those two than between the two 147’s as well.
The inexpensive range ammo just isn’t loaded as hot as defensive/JHP, so typically FMJ range ammo goes slower. Using a lighter FMJ can often get your MV closer to your defense round that way

Actually … A bit of clarification … I ordered the CCI/Blazer, not the Magtech.

I normally buy 147 grain Federal. It’s velocity is advertised at 1,000 ft per second. But we know depending on barrel length and everything else that that is not always on the money. this time because of price I bought 124 grain Blazer brass. At $13 a box I couldn’t pass up a thousand rounds. I’ve been buying from a place called bucking horse Outpost. Free shipping over 125 and I’ve been getting my product within 7 days. So far they seem to be getting it right.

Sometimes you may be surprised.

I’ve been buying US made ammo for over 1 year… and there’s a Turkish ZSR inside…
But the price and quality keep me buying it all the time.

I bought imported pistol primers last year. They are still the only ones in stock. I’m grateful to have them and a fellow member here shared where they were in stock. They weren’t my first choice, but are working great so far!

Sometimes our only choice isn’t our first choice luckily I’ve got CCI and federal primers in stock I do have a box of Federal match also. I’ve been sitting on these as I stocked up right before the ammo crisis but I’m beginning to use them again now.
