Canada 51st State? Structural breakdown,

Trump joking Canada as a 51st state is technically inaccurate, Canada as a whole could not become as a single entity as the 51st state. Each province would have to be considered a separate state.
The effect on the US Congress/Senate based on each Canadian Provinces’ population (and political leanings) would be as following:

Senate = 2 per state, Congressman = 1 per 761,169 individuals

Conservative states= Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick (13+ million population)

Neutral states = North West Territories, Nunavut. (82 thousand population)

Liberal states = Quebec, Ontario, Novia Scotia (26+ million population) They current control Canadas’ elections.

Senate Seats
12 Cons.
6 Liberal
4 Independent
House Seats
21 Cons
35 Liberal
2 Independent

The house would be forever locked up as Liberal

The major problem in Canada is population distribution, the bulk of Canadian provinces has super low population. The provinces of Ontario and Quebec (Toronto and Quebec cities) has the overwhelming left population vs the rest of the country. Take Canada in and exclude those two cities and the 51st state would be Conservative.

The effect on the US Congress/Senate based on each Canadian Provinces’ population (and political leanings) would be as following:
Even if Canada was admitted as a single state with 2 Senators, (because of political population disparity the new State) would be liberal, and the House distribution would remain the same with 35 liberal house members.

Senate = 2 per state, Congressman = 1 per 761,169 individuals based on House census requirements.
Conservative states= Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick (13+ million population)
Neutral states = North West Territories, Nunavut. (82 thousand population)
Liberal states = Quebec, Ontario, Novia Scotia (26+ million population) “Will control US elections”.
Cons… Liberal Ind,
|Senate Seats +12 +6 +4
|House Seats +21 +35 +2
