Bulk Range Ammo

This was actually the round you shot 6 days ago that traveled around the globe

Assuming the question refers to the International Space Station (ISS) orbiting the Earth:

The International Space Station (ISS) orbits Earth approximately 16 times in a 24-hour period.

Therefore, in 6 days, the ISS would complete approximately:

  • 6 days * 16 orbits/day = 96 orbits.

If I could’ve fired a round into orbit six days ago, intentionally missing my target 96 times just to bring it back to yeah, I actually hit my target exactly when I wanted to!

Well, I’d be Elon!

Orbital dynamics aren’t too different from ballistic physics,… just a few,… tens of thousands of miles per hour!

Seriously, my .50 shoots just shy of 3000 FPS, (2045MPH) right around 2x the speed of sound.

The space station orbits at 17,500 mph!

Got a LOT or speed to make up to get orbital!

I was very happy with the Federal Sierra Match in my Valkyrie.
In my reloading days I always used Sierra for my rifle rounds.
Try these.

Will look into some of that,… I think I have 1500 ish rounds of military grade 7.62 to feed it.

It’s just not as accurate as I would like…..

Much like the 660 grain PMC bronze.50 that I now need to waste blowing up random appliances for a youscrewb channel….:roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

“Bulk” takes on a whole new definition in that cartridge!

Time redfines it as well. Back when I could stop by Walmart and pick up ammo on the way to the range, the 150 round “Range Pack” was my definition of bulk procurement  I could count on Walmart to have a good selection at “Always low prices - Always”, so I never felt the need to be my own warehouse.

You’d better be careful… Norad might be detecting false positives for a rocket launch…

I always hear issues, but I have never had an issue with Winchester White Box. It’s basically my gold standard (though lately I’ve started to like Magtech more.)

can’t speak for your specific gun though. All my 9mm are Glock/ M&P, which are not picky at all.
