Not to worry..the jackbooted thugs will reverse that decision and make SBRs illegal with no exceptions or some variant of that.

No such thing. You can only have one state of residency. That does not mean you can’t live in a different state, but you would not be considered a resident of the other state, at least for tax purposes and the right to purchase handguns.
